The Oriental Pearl has been prominent in the West Bridgford restaurant scene since 1987. In early 2011 ownership of The Pearl was returned to the family who originally opened the restaurant twenty four years ago.
We started working with Kane Tang, and the Oriental Pearl restaurant back in 2010. Since then we have helped the company re-brand itself as a more up-market cantonese restaurant. We also helped them market and brand the new bar, Pearl Bar which is attached to the restaurant.
We designed and created a full website for the Pearl, featuring the usual basic business site trimmings, along with a custom booking system that allows customers to request table bookings through the website. They also benefit from a bespoke admin area, where they can administer staff members to receive updates or booking notifications. One of our more recent sites, we completed this at the end of 2011, and is primarily a graphical site, that is designed to look like a blueprint. We made the site incredibly simple as Harry Steer simply wanted to display what they did, and methodology for contacting themselves.
The site is graphically designed in house by George Whysall, and is built in ASP.NET MVC 3.

The Tomlinson Estate Management site was completed in early 2011, and launched over the summer. We built a fully bespoke property management application for the team members to utilise, they can sync their property lists with the website at the click of a button, allowing the system to download the information from their property management software.
The site manages the properties and displays them in user friendly lists in the search pages. The prospective students/homeowners can browse the properties using the search tools provided. T
The site is built in ASP.NET MVC 3 with a MS SQL Database.
The site makes use of the excellent Google maps API to display and map the properties, as well as the innovative streetview system to give the users a feel of the properties they are looking at.
